National Lampoon Fantasy Football FAQ

Q. Does it cost money to play?
A. There is a one-time membership fee of $250 per team to play.

Q. Can I create my own division?
A. Yes. Any owner can create a private division and invite others to join. All divisions must consist of 10 owners. If you do not fill a division, owners will be randomly assigned to your division shortly before the start of the season.

Q. How do I change my e-mail address?
A. After you've logged in to your team, just click on "My Account."

Q. Can I register for more than one team?
A. Yes, you may sign up for as many teams as you wish.

Q. How do I draft players?
A. You simply select a 21-player roster from the list of players provided. You can select any 21 players, but you must be able to field a valid starting lineup based on the official rules.

Q. What is considered a valid starting lineup?
A. Managers will be required to submit a starting lineup of seven (7) active players each week. Teams may start fewer than the seven (7) players allowed; however, no team may start more than seven (7) players in any given week. But to compete for weekly prizes, a team must have a complete, seven (7) man team playing that week. The starting lineup must consist of:

One (1) QB
Two (2) RB
Two (2) WR
One (1) TE
One (1) K

In addition, regardless of position, each team must start two (2) players from Group A, a minimum of two (2) players from Group B, and a minimum of two (2) players from Group C. The final remaining player position can be selected only from Group B or Group C.

Q. Why does another team in my division have the same player as I do?
A. Team rosters are not unique and teams may have the same players as another team in their Division at the same time.

Q. What if one of my players gets hurt? Can I change players?
A. Prior to the start of the season, you may make unlimited changes to your 21-player roster. You may also activate and bench players as many times as needed up to the normal weekly deadlines. After the first game of the season has started, each manager may make a maximum of one (1) free agent move during each week of the fantasy season.

Q. How often can I set my lineup?
A. Each week, players may be moved in or out of the starting lineup up to the scheduled game time of that player's first game of the week. After kickoff of the first scheduled game for a player, that player's status in your lineup cannot be edited again until the following Tuesday at 3pm ET.

Q. What are Group A, Group B and Group C?
A. NFL players are assigned to specific groups based upon their initial perceived 2007 Fantasy Value - Group A, Group B and Group C. The top fantasy players will be assigned to Group A, the next tier will be assigned to Group B and the remaining eligible NFL players will be assigned to Group C. Player groupings are final and will not change during the season.

Each team must start two (2) players from Group A, a minimum of two (2) players from Group B, and a minimum of two (2) players from Group C. The final remaining player position can be selected only from Group B or Group C.
